All baby hamsters died today
This has got to be the worst day for me - all my baby hamsters died today.
I don’t know what had gone wrong. They are now about 2 1/2 weeks old, and seemed perfectly healthy until yesterday. I noticed them seemed not active by night, but thought that they were just feeling tired. In the morning, I noticed that four of them were motionless. In the evening, the remaining two were also motionless.
When we went to hubby’s mother’s house today, his brother said that he wanted a male hamster to let his female hamster start breeding. So we gave our male Mumu to him, and our female Peggy together. We then kept two of his female hasmter with our other hamsters after a bath.Â
I am just pretty upset over the death of all the baby hamsters. They look so adorable, and we have even bought a larger cage to house them all. I think I’d be contented with five adult hamsters now - the pain of losing them is just too hard to bear.

hi.. my two roborovski hamsters had babies too.. four of them. they are now about 2 and a half weeks old.. i am sooo sorry to hear about ur hamsters dying… i hope it doesnt happen to mine!

I now have 7 adult hamsters, in which two are the original ones. I’m bringing home another 3 babies + 1 mummy hamster from my friend’s place. I originally gave her two, and it recently gave birth to 5 babies, and two died two days ago.
They are pretty fragile when very young. I love mine very much. After the new addition, I’ll have 10 hamsters.
Cute, adorable and I always stand in front of the three cages giving them speeches.. hahaha
