Interesting Bites

I read about leech therapy recently, and am interested to try it out.  I found that Jelitasari Beauty Centre offers this service at RM150 per treatment session.  I’ll call them next week to find out how its done, and I am keen to try it out.  The health benefits are to cleanse the toxic in the body and to make the body feel ‘lighter’.  On how its going to work, I’m not really sure.. but I’ve heard of ancient traditional treatments of using methods to get rid of ‘dirty blood’.

Where I used to work in the Ayurvedic centre, the doctor said that they used leech in India as well - to get rid of toxic in the body.  But he said that those type of leeches is not easy to find.  In Malaysia, there are now entreprenuers who breed these leeches, and Jelitasari also said that they breed them for this treatment.  They are not recycled, so I think they should have ample supply of these leeches.

Anyone tried this before?  Hmm..
