Interesting Bites

Hubby and myself had an early breakfast with his colleague & his girlfriend today at Wangsa Maju.  As hubby was rushing to go to his friend’s house, he asked his colleague to fetch me back.  On our way back to Sri Damansara via the MRR 2, there was a traffic congestion.  I was thinking.. why was there a traffic jam at 8.30am?  As we inched our way closer, we saw a black plastic bag covering something at the side of the road.  The person’s had was protruding out of the plastic bag and there was a motorcycle some distance away, with two helmets.  We were all dumbfounded for a while… especially after witnessing the horrifying accident scene.

With Malaysia’s high accident fatalities, scenes like these are not common.  Everyday as I drive on the road, I see a lot of impatient people be it motorcyclist, car drivers, lorry drivers or even bus drivers - its no wonder we have one of the highest accident rates in the world!  Some people will endanger their own lives, their loved ones in the same vehicle as them and even other innocent people for their own benefit.  And they will not realise that ‘being cool’ or ‘being fastest on the road’ will not mean anything if they meet with an accident that cost them or other’s their lives.

Before you start driving everyday, just think of your loved ones and drive safely.
