When I was working in a traditional healthcare centre a couple of years back, the doctor teached Yoga in our centre. I once followed through the class and I felt like my neck falling apart. My doctor then told me that this was because my spine was no longer in its natural curve, hence the pain. Continuous yoga can help improve the condition, but I soon moved to another organization and was just too busy to do any yoga.

Of late, because of work pressure and constantly falling sick, a friend of mine suggested that I work out and do more exercises. Knowing my late nights at work, packed weekends, I’d never have the time to go for any Fitness First type of exercise. I will simply give up at the end. So I remembered this Yoga that I used to do and I searched through YouTube for some basic Yoga to try out. Here’s some I saw and would love to try :-

Its a 438 room 5-star hotel in Petaling Jaya - and the latest one that is. If you are having guest during the upcoming Chinese New Year, why not put them up at this new hotel in Petaling Jaya?

There are not many hotels (nice ones) in Petaling Jaya. The ones that comes out of my mind in the mention of hotels in PJ are Eastin Hotel (beside the Sprint Highway), Royale Bintang (at Mutiara Damansara) … and can’t think of any other! If you are willing to travel down a bit, you could put up at Sunway Hotel, Sheraton Subang - but that’s a bit far from Petaling Jaya already..

I blogged about my recent company dinner at the Mines Beach Resort & Spa recently.  Now, feast on the spectacular images of this ultra-romantic place!

The above is the lobby and the main entrance.  It is open-air, no air-conditioning but very resort-like feel.  They decorated the place with lots of wood furnishing and accessories.

This is how the entire place look like.  We were suppose to be having the dinner by the beach side, but it rained - so we adjourned inside.  Overall, looks very romantic.  But I was way too tired to enjoy the food, the same goes for many.  I guess the travelling did take its toll on their appetite. 

Yes, we finally bought a PlayStation 2, after months of thinking about it.

Why we are buying it - it is for my parents… hahaha.  They initially borrowed my brother’s PlayStation and it has broken down after many years of usage.  I saw my father recently checking out Astro’s game channel (Channel 200) and he said he couldn’t play the games as it was chargeable.  Moreover, the games are all very simple ones.  So I thought that its timely to get a PlayStation for them now.

Hubby & I finally bought one yesterday at Kepong.  It cost us RM679 for a console, two dual shock controllers, one external fan, one memory card and 10 pcs of games.  I am glad everyone is enjoying the new toy at home… but I am poorer by RM679 now.  But sometimes, I feel that if money can buy happiness, I would (and I did!).

Everyone is happy now.  I have more time to myself while my parents are enjoying their games.  :)  And hubby also takes the opportunity to play some games that he likes.

This is one car I’ve been waiting to see - Perodua Viva. 

I had a chance to drop by the showroom yesterday to see the much awaited car.  It is going to replace the existing Perodua Kancil and Perodua Kelisa, judging from the price range and the cc of the car. 

The price is from RM28K to RM44K ++, which I think is quite attractive judging from the features of the car.  I am tempted to buy one, but I have to remember my long term objectives - so I can only admire it for time being.
