What does a marketing manager do?

Draw up a strategy, map out the activities to be plotted in the marketing plan, measure results and come out with analysis and lastly present the whole process to the management.

Yes, but that’s just part of my job now.  I have also carry out all the duties because my newly employed marketing executive will only be joining in mid-May.  At the moment, I have been given the charge to take care of three major segments in the business, in which one is of a sister-company.  Though I can foresee ( & already start to feel) the added workload, pressure and duties & responsibilities - I feel that this is the challenge that will keep me going for a long time now.

Right now, I have got to manage the website revamp, coming up with a totally new website for partners, managing the daily news and also the daily activities within the company.  No easy task but I will be able to delegate the task to my 2 executives once they are in.  Ah… right now, its busy busy busy…
