I’ve seen quite a bit of plastic surgery centres sprouting up in town in the last three years, probably because people are more concious of their physical appearance as we are getting more urbanised. In addition to that, centres which provides specialised plastic surgery are also able to correct facial deformities or even injuries that causes such deformities - therefore giving their patients a new lease of life and the confidence they really require to stand up tall.

One of my close friend did ask me for references to a good rhinoplasty centre some time ago. I’ve never heard of this term even though I was working in a healthcare centre back then. When I looked it up, I found that rhinoplasty refers to a nose job or nasal plastic surgery, which can help restore the structure of the nose. Some people go for a rhinoplasty to correct the look of their nose or even to correct deformities from birth or due to an injury.

An interesting fact that I found out is that our nose is fully developed by age 16. The shape and size of a person’s nose is genetic, so you might have the same nose (shape & size) as your brothers and sisters. My hubby has the same nose type with his sisters - and it is very evident! So, take out your family pictures and have a good look at your noses now.
