No additional story or words were needed for the story of abandoned strays in a wild island off Pulau Ketam - this is plain inhumane. Letting these poor dogs to die in a deserted island is just unimaginable.
If you can offer any help at all, be it forwarding the above message, posting it in your blog, giving monetary contribution or be a volunteer or even adopting one of them & to love them, it would be great. As for me, I’ll be making a small donation to TV Smith, Sabrina Yeap and their team and my prayers go to them - for them to safely rescue these animals.
Happy Wesak Day to all.
And, while we are all enjoying our weekend, lets bear in mind that there are selfless volunteers who are putting their lives in danger to rescue these dogs whom some has left to die. Please help wherever we can.
UPDATE
I can’t believe this when I read this, but I’ll let you be the judge. These dogs were left to die using the Malaysian taxpayer’s money! Here’s the link

I read and reread TV Smith and Sabrina Yeap’s pleas for assistance of any kind to rescue those poor helpless animals trapped in the island. I promise that I’ll wake up 20 minutes earlier tomorrow to go to CIMB and contribute a small donation to the good cause - from my parents (who are animal lovers) and myself. I’d want to volunteer and help however it is impossible at this moment due to work commitments. Thus, I’ll be going all out promoting via my facebook, blog and via mouth - to see whether there is anyone within my network who could help in any way at all.
I feel saddened, thinking about these poor dogs. They must be cold, hungry and in pain. Probably their heart aches even more thinking about how human has deserted them and leaving them to die. Everytime I think of it, the heart in me cry - if possible, I want to save every dog on the island and give them a life they truly deserve.
